Présentation
Social inclusion income (revenu d’inclusion sociale, REVIS – formerly RMG) grants anyone the opportunity to access a basic means of livelihood, provided that they satisfy the conditions set out in the law of 28 July 2018.
Regional social inclusion agents (agents régionaux d’inclusion sociale, ARIS) are similarly part of the social welfare department, and work exclusively with those in receipt of REVIS. Their task is to facilitate social integration and integration into work, using activation measures.
Depending on the competences and aptitude for work of the benefit recipient, an activation plan sets out the type of activation measures adopted.
These may take two forms:
- Participation in a measure for temporary assignment to a community service project (MA-TUC) with social partners. .
- Participation in stabilization activities which contribute to improving the individual’s social situation or prepare the individual for a future MA-TUC.
The role of the ARIS also includes :
- Monitoring and supporting the benefit recipient with his/her activation plan
- Assisting the benefit recipient with job searches or in looking for training
- Organizing community service, monitoring and evaluating work agreements
- Collaborating with other departments (ADEM, the social welfare office’s social assistance department, etc.)
The regional social inclusion agents work solely by appointment
